“Daisy” the Canadian TikTok Virtual Cowfluencer

In 2022, I helped DFC create Daisy, the world's first virtual 'cowfluencer' (@moo_daisy), designed to share dairy content with young audiences on TikTok. Daisy uses evergreen content to build a direct relationship with this demographic, promoting the benefits of Canadian dairy and the contributions of its farmers.

Technologically, Daisy is a breakthrough, utilizing text-to-speech AI, lip-sync algorithms, and mocap character animation. She interacts in multiple languages, collaborates with other TikTokers, and responds to trends in real time. Daisy shares trending content like recipes, dances, and contests, blending it with educational facts about sustainability and animal care in dairy farming.

To date, Daisy has reached over 23.8K Followers, 230.5K Likes and her videos have over 47M views on TikTok.

Conceptualized, illustrated and animated for DFC’s OOH and social campaigns “Dairy Farming Forward, I Do That” and “Farm to Fork” I combined traditional illustration with Midjourney for effective mood boards and storyboarding.

As the motion and graphic designer for this project, I faced a significant technological challenge in bringing a beautifully balanced food tower to life under very tight turnaround and budget. I used AI and Cinema 4D to transform 2D photography into a series of captivating OOH and social videos, showcasing a unique and innovative approach to the project.
